Gorgeous hotel, we had a very spacious room in the Annex as we need to fit a travel cot in with us for our 5 month old baby. We stayed in room 15, very clean and tidy. Towels were soft and clean, does include shampoo and shower gel fixed to the wall which were nice too. Shower head over bath was very powerful and lots of room. However, my family stayed in rooms 11 and 12 and both rooms were considerably smaller and had some issues with pressure in the toilet and shower trays filled up with too much water. Breakfast buffet was excellent and lots of variety but this was necessary as we first had the cooked castle breakfast and it was a little sparse, so needed something extra to fill us. To conclude, the staff were friendly and helpful, the dining areas and grounds around the castle were beautiful, we sat outside after breakfast (especially as the weather has been lovely over the weekend) Kettle in room with complimentary tea/coffee ect. Also had a hair dryer in the room but ours didn't work properly cuts on and off but luckily I brought my own.

We had a lovely stay at the 12th century Walworth Castle Hotel. We had reserved the King James suite for one night and it proved to be an ideal accommodation. Surrounded by acres of lawns and Woodlands, home to a thriving bird population. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy refreshments and soak up the breathtaking countryside. Additionally, there is a play area for children, making it a great choice for families. The friendly and welcoming hotel staff contribute to the atmosphere of the hotel. Overall, the hotel provides exceptional value for money.

Great castle with one of the best outside sitting areas I have ever been to. The rooms are a bit weird, some have a bath but no shower, but if you don't mind that it is a great place. Good for visiting Durham, York and Newcastle.

Stayed here for one night, stayed in the west wing, room was a bit small but for one night it did the job. The food was fantastic couldn’t fault it at all, the staff were very pleasant & attentive, Ethan was a very pleasant young man as were the rest of the staff. The outside grounds were lovely, plenty of outside seating, free parking, small play area for the kids I would definitely go back and maybe treat ourselves to an upgraded room.

We had a night at Walworth castle with our dog the room we were in was ok but needed a revamp but perfectly acceptable the staff were brilliant happy and friendly shout out to Mary on reception great service. The two young ladies dayle and Emily were lovely they couldn’t do enough to help us The food we had was excellent all in all great value for money. Some posts have been put on about the bar prices being expensive however I think they were good value for a hotel not expensive at all we had a wander through the other rooms and they were all very nice. I would recommend it for the good and service alone
