We chose to spent the first couple of days of our honeymoon in the Bruntsfield and we absolutely adored it. The room was so cozy with a great view to a portion of the Meadows and suburbs and the area was quiet at night yet we never felt unsafe in any way. The staff was super nice and even left us a congratulations card, which was so preicous! If you're looking for a place to stay that's out of the more tourist-heavy areas, the Bruntsfield is a great pick!

We recently stayed at the Bruntsfield Hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland, and had a wonderful experience. The location was ideal; it was within walking distance to restaurants, hiking trails, and sightseeing attractions, and it was also close to the big red bus station. I want to give special recognition to their breakfast, which was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. Jeane was absolutely amazing with our family, and she consistently went above and beyond to make breakfast an exceptional experience for all guests each morning!

I highly recommend The Bruntsfield! My friend and I stayed 5 nights while visiting one of our close friends in Edinburgh. The area this hotel is in feels so safe and was quiet. It’s a little off the tourist path, which we really liked, the popular tourist attractions can be easily accessed if you’re willing to walk a little ways or by bus. The rooms were spacious and very clean! They did a wonderful job on cleaning while we were there and refreshing our towels as well. Shower has great water pressure! We wanted to explore more of the local restaurants so we did not eat at the restaurant located in the hotel except for one breakfast but the meal we did have was delicious! Staff there were quick to seat us and offer us coffee. Again, safety is key for me when I travel and this hotel is located in a great neighborhood with a lovely park nearby making it feel so safe and homey. Lots of local shops and cafes nearby for food options if you don’t want to eat at the hotel restaurant or go down into Edinburgh. Our experience here was lovely. It was so nice to have comfy, clean beds to return to after long days of seeing beautiful sights. If I make it back to Edinburgh I will definitely be booking here again! Thank you Bruntsfield employees for all that you do 😊

Spacious, well-priced, recently renovated, well-furnished rooms with only minor snags. The initial room we were placed in didn’t have hot water, and we had to report it twice before we were moved to another room. The corridors are a bit labyrinthine but that’s to be expected from an older building. There is a dining area on the lower level with a cosy cafe/bar. The hotel is located on a quiet street overlooking a park, within a walking distance of the cite centre.
