Great service. Booked my car in for another MOT and service at this garage after they sent a handy reminder when the MOT was due to run out. The team were warm and professional, clear about collection times, expectations and pricing. They offered advice and options regarding work to resolve an issue I had been experiencing and the price was reasonable. So helpful to find a’ honest garage you can trust and return too year on year. Highly recommend.

I booked my car into this garage, when booking I told them it was making a very loud rattling noise which I assumed to be the timing chain, I also had it booked in for a new alternator. Upon receiving my car, they did not do any diagnostics to check it was actually the timing chain baring in mind it is an expensive and invasive job. On the first day they called me and told me they couldn’t do my timing chain without adding another job on, then the next day there was another thing they had to do, which together increased the price and the time they had my car. Then on the evening of the 3rd day they said the work was completed but there was still a loud rattling noise which they presume was coming from the engine valves being out of place and needing readjusting, this would only cost me labour, but would be about 4 hours worth. I agreed to this being done on Thursday morning. My car spent most of Thursday on their forecourt and not being worked on. Friday morning I called the garage and they told me they were hoping for my car to be finished by end of the day but they couldn’t be sure as they had to finish the work on it. However again my car was left on their forecourt all day Friday and hadn’t been worked on at all. They called at 1.30 to tell me the car was done and when I asked ‘is there a rattling sound , tapping sound, or is it all quiet and sorted now’ she confirmed it was. However when we picked it up this evening, it is still rattling and making a noise, they have put this on the invoice that they think it could be something different to cover themselves , however as I stated on the phone she was very clear that my car was fine and nothing wrong with it.
