Lovely boutique hotel, centrally located, with some scratches due to wear and tear, but still great value for the money. And the attention to our dog was exceptional - there was a dog bed, dog bowls and dog treats waiting for us! Nice bathroom (with slippers and bathrobes) with lovely products and towels too!

Great hotel. In a quiet part of town, not too far from the centre at all, around a 10 minute walk. Good breakfast. Good, friendly service. Room was big & comfortable & had everything you’d need. Nothing to complain about

I needed to checkout early. They said I could check out but I'd be charged for my scheduled stay, 2 nights longer than I was going to be there. I waited till that evening and then checked out and got a train to London. They wouldn't give me a receipt because they needed to process something, what, overnight? Now it's my scheduled day of departure and I'm getting messages asking me to checkout, I did it 2 days ago. Now we wait and see if the billing was done correctly even for the scheduled stay?

I don’t like being critical but there’s a lot of minor issues. The tap produced tepid cloudy water even after being left on for a bit to chill. It may need oiled, because you need to apply heavy pressure to move it and it shunts in whatever direction you push it in. The TV works but takes sometimes a full minute to register input from the remote, meaning if you hold the volume button, you and your neighbours will be blasted with full volume about a minute later. None of the television’s smart features worked as it wasn’t connected to the internet. It might be cheaper and more effective to downgrade to a non-smart TV. At breakfast, the milk had gone bad. It may have been left out for too long without being replaced. The bed is on wheels, so it’ll inevitably move away from the wall leaving your pillows to fall if you lie against the headrest on the wall. The wheels don’t seem to be able to lock so you’ll need to push the bed back every so often. The kettle is stuck below two panes of glass, which will steam up. It might be best to move it elsewhere. Some of the light switches looked like they’d been pushed out of place. Some good things: good location, friendly staff, and some free snacks and drinks in the mini fridge. Good sized shower. Very little noise save for the air conditioning.
