Hotel Indigo Edinburgh

Great value and well themed Georgian style hotel right in the heart of Edinburgh. Rooms were decently appointed and relatively spacious with complementary fridge content and front desk staff were friendly. Certainly not the most luxurious but a great experience at this price point and location.

No heat in the room when it was 40 degree fahrenheit outside, it was not that heat was weak, the heat did not work at all. First they kept telling me to wait and room would warm up, then they just offered me a tiny space heater, for the whole room, and no one could address the problem, as the maintenance personnel was not available in the evening. Also, shower drain had chunk of hair not cleaned. Service is pretty good otherwise (except the cleaning), and location is very good next to St. James Quarter. But don't go in the winter. I contacted IHG, although the representative said he would contact the hotel directly to address it, but nothing happened, I expected much better from IHG and an Indigo Hotel.
