No. 32, Hidden Test Space

What a wonderful establishment - the room (the Signature family room) was fantastic. High ceilings, updated bathroom, quiet and cute street. Staff were extremely helpful. We’ll be back!

Such a lovely stay! The place felt cozy and well cared for, and everything was just as expected. Check-in was easy, and we felt comfortable throughout our visit. Would happily come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at No.32 and would genuinely recommend it — with one honest heads-up for light sleepers. The hotel is small and cosy, which honestly works in its favour. It feels personal and welcoming rather than corporate, with fresh flowers dotted around, beautiful décor, and a really warm atmosphere throughout. The rooms have been newly decorated and everything feels clean and well looked after. Our room was on the smaller side and there’s no proper wardrobe, but it didn’t bother us too much, it was still a lovely space to come back to after a long day exploring the city. Now, the curtain situation. There are none. In summer, Edinburgh light comes in early — and we mean early. We found ourselves waking up way before we wanted to, and it also made privacy a bit of a juggle. When we mentioned it to the staff, they were so kind about it, they immediately offered us a different room at no extra cost. It turned out to have a similar setup so we decided to stay where we were, but the fact that they responded so quickly and genuinely wanted to help really stuck with us. The staff honestly made the stay. They were warm, helpful, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Housekeeping was great, the room was spotless every day, and we loved the little daily touches like fresh water, tea, and coffee. We didn’t manage to try the breakfast or the evening bar, but both are on offer and add to the feeling that this is a place that really thinks about its guests. All in all, No.32 is a gem. Charming, characterful, and run by people who clearly take pride in what they do. Just pack an eye mask and you’re golden!
