Our neon-splattered bar is open late 7 days a week on Lothian Rd – just sneaking into the edge of the old town.
We have some tasty game-themed cocktails, retro arcade machines and consoles, specially-chosen beers, wines, spirits, and sodas, and all the good vibes you can shake a stick at.
We accommodate private functions for groups of 40- 200 people with our amazing pre order packages and food options for the best nostalgia event that will have your office talking about you for months.

We can offer private venue hires for groups of 100-200 people for the most amazing neon splattered nostalgia event! An exclusive venue hire comes with free use of our games consoles, over 30 arcade games from dance machine to pac man, a large bar (fully staffed of course) and a photobooth for you to piece together the night! Our photobooth comes at an extra cost.

Cancellation policy
100% of contract spend is refundable 60 days prior to the event, 50% deposit of the contract spend is refundable if more than 30 days prior to the event.

NQ64 is by far my favourite bar in Edinburgh, with a huge selection of games and lovely staff. I have been served by Denis multiple times and each time he's has greeted me and my friend with such warmth, welcoming us back. The first time we ordered from him he even asked us our favourite colours as to personalise the accessories to our drinks (straws, feathers, umbrellas and such). Denis and all of the staff i have been served by here are absolutely wonderful and you will be happy to be served by any one of them. There's also an amazing student discount too if you bring a student ID.

This place was brilliant! I've been to a few NQ64 chains now and each one is just as good as the other. Drinks are a bit pricey but the experience you get from playing all of the retro games makes you for this. Great fun, great service. Thank you

Went here just last night with my mates, absolutely loved it. I'm an avid fan of old-school/retro arcade cabinets and it was awesome to play on them so freely with some nice drinks and a really good atmosphere (Big fan of the low light level, helps my eyes haha). Staff are really friendly too, had an issue with silent scope eating my tokens and had my issue solved in seconds (The staff member escapes me at the moment unfortunately) Will be coming back for sure :)

Took my partner here, and we had a fun time! Played loads of games, and the atmosphere was really good. Service was great as well. The only thing I didn't like was that people were hogging the consoles, so we didn't get around to playing Super Mario Racing and other games. I think that needs to be managed better to make it fair on others. Highly recommend for something a bit different on a night out!

Really and different fun night out! I loved the arcade bar, I wish I had the chance to play more games, but it was really crowded (we went on a Saturday night). The cocktail I had (the peach one) was really good and so easy to drink! I also particularly loved the photo booth in the venue. The service was really good and we were served really quickly.
