The newly refurbished rooms are very nice, there's a lot more space than a typical hotel and you get gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows. No issues with noise or heat control. Breakfast was reasonable, what there is is of a fair standard but options are limited. Unlimited hot drinks is a bonus though. The staff were excellent, friendly and actually seem like they enjoy their job. The location is amazing. Surrounded by the food outlets of the university, by a big park, but a short walk into the centre. It's a good escape from the bustle of the Golden Mile, without having to travel too far

Booked this hotel from 9am to 5pm through Dayuse.com. Arrived 1 hr early and was offered breakfast while waiting for room to be ready. It was the best breakfast (loved the fresh blue berry croissants!) compared to breakfasts at other hotels during my trip in Scotland! The staffs are lovely and very polite. The studio is clean and has everything I need. The location is perfect for me (a senior) to easily walk to the center and spend time visiting Edinburgh castle.
