Just came for a quick overnight while we watched a show at the theater nearby. Yulia was quite friendly and helpful and made some great recommendations for food while we were here. The room was clean and quite cozy. The building is old so you can expect all of the old groans and moans but it is maintained very well. Would definitely recommend Staying here especially if you're seeing a show at the theater

The building and decor definitely need some TLC. The room my family stayed in had a lovely walk in shower but for a triple room was quite small. The lift is so tiny and you need to open a heavy door to get to it. I would not say this hotel is accessible because even though there is a lift there are stairs between the corridors on 2nd floor where my family stayed. The staff are nice and stored the pushchair in the cloakroom overnight. I was disappointed in the breakfast offerings. Very expensive and didn’t look appetising so we went elsewhere.

Shower was faulty and wouldn't adjust temperature. Was only boiling hot water so not usable. They had maintenance to check it and they agreed it was faulty. They was only able to provide a key card for another room and hour and a half before we was due to check out which wasn't enough time and meant we would have had to pay for more parking and be late for our plans for the rest of the day. Room phone also wasn't working and WiFi signal was terrible. However Location was brilliant for what we needed it for. Bed was comfy. There was a fan provided which was welcomed in the hot weather.

Like many other reviews had mentioned, our room felt dirty and poor maintained. The bathroom was disgusting, the toilet was dirty, the side of the shower was dirty with hair on it, no water pressure, so our showers weren’t very relaxing, the window is faulty so we couldn’t close it. We have booked a superior room, so I expected a bit more “superiority” from this room. There are so many reviews that say the same thing, but nothing is being done. At least keep the basic and clean the rooms and bathrooms properly, is not hygienic at all. We have questioned the water pressure and the excuse was that other people are having a shower at the same time and that’s why we don’t have pressure. The price of the rooms is not cheap. Next time we’ll definitely go somewhere else. I gave 2 stars because the staff in the restaurant and reception were really lovely and the meals were decent.
