The Rougemont Hotel boasts a fantastic selection of 11 function rooms for your celebrations. With a licence to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships, the hotel can play host to your whole day of celebrations.
The largest room, the Devonshire Suite, can accommodate up to 250 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 250 for an evening reception. The space has its own extensive bar, making it the perfect setting for a grand event.
Alternatively, the elegant Cavendish Ballroom can seat up to 120 for a formal wedding breakfast. The Ballroom boasts exquisite, high sculptured ceilings which create a majestic atmosphere. The room also has its own private bar and dance floor. For smaller ceremonies, the charming Derby Suite is full of charm and character.
Throughout your plans and preparations, your dedicated wedding planner will be on hand to help every step of the way. We appreciate that you may be planning your big day to a strict budget so, from drinks and dining to accommodation and entertainment, your wedding planner can put everything together for a fixed, affordable price.

Stayed here for one night. Convenient location opposite central train station. Greeted by friendly and helpful woman on reception, keen to help with what I wanted to see in Exeter. Older style hotel with some character features in the public areas. Room was good, but a little stuffy with no fan or air con. Odd smell in corridor but room was fine.

Amazing spot in the centre of Exeter!! Everyone we met was welcoming and inviting. The room was up to standard as you would expect. The building was gorgeous and the drinks were decent. The bar was inviting and the building had charm. The receptionist even lent my wife an umbrella as it might rain. Lovely hotel with great customer experience! Would definitely recommend and stay again in future

Kara and Victoria on reception were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They really helped relax me after a stressful lead up to checking in. The rooms were a good size, but no mirror above the desk to do hair or make-up and the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The location was excellent. A fridge would have been welcome. It was very hot, I bought my own milk for tea, but it went off within 12 hours. The food in the restaurant so-so, just about acceptable. The bar area has no atmosphere, but nice bar man. The staff and location of this hotel are the best things about it.
