This Courtyard was right next to the airport. So easy to walk upon arrival, but we were so tired when departing that we used a cab. the ten pounds was very much worth it, he delivered us right to the doors without having to drag our suitcases. The front desk had arranged the cab for us when we checked in and he was right on time

Just spent the week here with my work. Staff were so so friendly and efficient nothing was ever an issue. Restaurant staff especially totally made me feel at home. Can't rate this hotel enough. Crackin restaurant aswell food was excellent.

Stayed here twice the first time the room was great but the second time it was in need of renovation and the carpet was very stained. Food and staff was great, the walk from the hotel is long and not well signposted which is a bit of a nightmare in the rain and dark especially when the traffic lights are not working.

Overall not a bad stay but not great. First, the price of my room was higher than when I book, and didn't reflect the prepaid price. Luckily I noticed and spoke with the manager before checking in. Price fixed. The breakfast was okay. The room was a functional, however lots of wear and tear. The carpet is stained and needs to go, not replaced, but ditched completely. The curtains are filthy. Bathroom is showing grim, and sink was cracked. Fire alarm went off on Saturday for unknown reasons, despite sign saying tests are Wednesdays. Dinner service was good. Food a little expensive, but edible. Kirsty was awesome and did her best to ensure I had a wonderful dining experience. Room service is offered but no menu in room. Location is not great if you want to sightsee, though the Airport Express is available for a $20 roundtrip and there are taxis. Airport a short 6 minute walk away.

I recently booked a stay at a Marriott hotel for a group of people, only to be informed upon arrival that my room was unavailable due to overbooking. As a result, I was separated from my group and redirected to a nearby hotel, which I was assured would be of a similar four-star standard. Unfortunately, the alternative accommodation fell far short of expectations. The hotel was dated, the decor was tired, and I had to change rooms due to electrical issues. I had planned for an early night in preparation for a very early start the following morning, but the disruption caused by Marriott made that impossible. It is deeply disappointing that Marriott would overbook rooms and then turn away guests upon arrival. This experience has left me with the impression that the company prioritises profit over customer care. Based on this experience, I will not be booking with Marriot again.
