Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is a free museum located in Glasgow. It’s a must-visit for museum lovers, especially if you’re in the vicinity. You could easily spend the entire day exploring its many exhibits. The museum spans two floors and has a cross-flow design, with the main entrance serving as the centre. There are a wide variety of exhibits, including art, paintings, wildlife, artifacts, and more historical items. The building itself is stunning, both inside and out. There’s plenty to do and explore here. Overall, I highly recommend adding Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum to your list of places to visit in Glasgow. It’s suitable for people of all ages, from children to adults. They’ll all enjoy their time here, and it’s a great place to rest after a day of walking.

A fantastic museum and art gallery. So big it will take a few visits to see everything we wanted to, but plenty of chances to discover new things none of us had noticed before. Situated in a lovely park with good facilities (although only one lift working was a bit of an issue for our mobility-impaired group member). Wonderful place with something for everyone - even a great organ recital!

The museum is very good one and has many collections and sections. It is very vast and quite educational. Good to spent time with little ones. It has many life sized replicas of animals. The art gallery is very good and contain some original famous works. It is free to visit.

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is outstanding, with a fantastic mix of art, cultural treasures, and natural history exhibits. The daily organ concert at 1pm is a real highlight and not to be missed. The biggest drawback is the parking—spaces are limited, the machines don’t accept credit cards, and the parking app doesn’t work for international visitors, so don’t bother trying. Bring coins if you must drive, but it’s far easier to take public transit or Uber. Aside from the parking headache, this is a world-class museum and well worth the visit.

As a casual tourist who enjoys art on a simple level I did not find a piece that truly drew me in on a personal level. Still the building itself is stunning and worth the visit. I was surprised to see how often this museum is ranked among the top 500 must see places but I understand the recognition when looking at its history and impressive architecture.
