About Venue
St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art was the first museum in the world to look at all the major world religions together.
Within the St Mungo Museum we offer venue hire clients a clean, bright and spacious function room which is perfect for meetings, training workshops, seminars and dinners. The museum collection shows the inspirational role of religion throughout history and the beautifully presented displays can be viewed by guests attending a function at the St Mungo Museum.
The Function Room on the ground floor level is perfect for smaller business and social gatherings.
This bright and airy room is frequently used for business meetings, seminars and presentations. The function room can also host social events including weddings, wedding receptions and civil partnership ceremonies. The function room overlooks Cathedral Square and many guests draw inspiration from the UK’s only permanent Zen garden which lies immediately outside the function room area.
Additionally, this museum’s convenient, central location and nearby parking facilities combined with the building’s beautiful architecture place it firmly on the map as one of Glasgow’s favourite venues.
