About Venue

Burleigh Court is the perfect place to host your client meetings, retreat days or private parties. We offer a couple of private rooms for hire as well as the whole estate with all its 18 bedrooms. The terrace room seats up to 16 people, the Oak Room up to 46. We also offer outdoor seating on the rear patio or secret garden.

You can book in for just a meal, a day or stay the night – we’d love to host you as long as you like. Our restaurant offers some seriously good food - mostly locally sourced and harvested from our very own kitchen garden. All eighteen bedrooms are super comfy and offer a peaceful night of sleep. And there is more: group foraging, treasure hunts or clay pigeon experiences are available as well as walking maps to enjoy the surrounding nature.

All meeting rooms boasts much natural daylight, along with ample power points, a presentation screen and Wi-Fi. There’s plenty of natural ventilation and the opportunity to enjoy breaks in our gardens, lounge, and bar. Burleigh Court is centrally located and within easy access of both the M4 & M5 motorways, with parking for up to 30 vehicles. London Paddington is only 1hr 20 away via direct train to Stroud.

Loved everything about my stay here. I was looking for a quiet city escape. From the rooms, to the decoration, to the fireplace with big reading chair, to the staff, to the breakfast, to the grounds with sauna & central location (several amazing places in the neighborhood)… everything was perfect!! Wonderful hotel. The room was stunning with views across the valley. Staff were exceptional, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Cocktails simply divine and it was such a pleasure to sit in the lounge in front of the fire playing board games whilst drinking one. We loved our stay and will return.

Beautiful hotel, stunning views and building. Enjoyed the spa experience, was nice to relax in the sauna and jacuzzi after a day in the Cotswalds. In a top notch room, was really spacious with every luxury needed. Being able to relax at the fireplace, really gives this hotel the authentic vibe. Breakfast and dinner were great, with a special shout-out to the lady who manages the breakfast. Really lovely lady who can be seen as an example as to how you can make your guests feel treated as kings! Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone!

Burleigh Court team has been fantastic in preparation for our wedding day! We could not have wished to find a better location, where the team takes such good care of you ❤️ Sheelagh from the events team has been very responsive to our questions throughout the whole process and handled all the aspects of planning in such an attentive and calm manner that we always knew that everything was in good hands. This is definitely what you need when planning such an event! On the day of the wedding the team was so professional and attentive 🥰 Erin, who took care of us, was a fantastic host. She has made our day feel effortless, arranged all the small details with a lot of care and helped make a beautiful set up for the ceremony and the dining table. Thank you Erin!! How Burleigh Court team set up everything on the day was stunning, we were so impressed, it felt so cosy and was so beautiful, from the ceremony to the cake table to the cosy dining table with an open fireplace. The food was above and beyond, canapés were delicious, the dinner was so tasty that our guests wanted seconds! We cannot recommend Burleigh Court enough, a beautiful venue, very well taken care of, focused on local high quality ingredients and taking amazing care of their guests! The location was inconvenient and the property itself was in poor condition. We booked this lodge through Booking.com, but when issues arose, the property management claimed all transactions and refunds had to be handled through Booking.com — which made resolving things very difficult. We stayed here during summer and I waited before posting this review, hoping the refund (as per their stated policy) would be processed. Unfortunately, it still hasn’t been handled correctly. On arrival, the place was clearly not cleaned properly and had a noticeable fly problem. A basic level of cleanliness before guest check-in would have made a big difference. Many similar lodges in comparable locations manage to control insects effectively, so that shouldn’t be used as an excuse. We eventually found a much better and cheaper place to stay elsewhere. Attached images of the lodge — they speak for themselves. Hopefully this helps others make an informed choice before booking. Ps. This review had to be tweaked using Gemini Ai so Google policy / guidelines are followed and hopefully a true experience can be shared with others and required improvements can be made to show integrity and honesty.
