We had a great stay. Good dining experience. Really nice ambiance friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast absolutely fabulous despite being a buffet. Great selection of continental choices and hot buffet was well stocked with quality produce and frequently refreshed by attentive staff. Fantastic breakfast which set us up for the day ahead. By far the best self serve buffet breakfast I’ve ever had on my extensive travels.

Stayed here a few times. Really nice setting, plenty of space in and around the hotel. Ample car park spaces. Good food. Only thing that let it down for me was the room temperature during my last stay was too hot and no air con. Other than that, great place to stay.

This hotel is a gem hidden away by picturesque scenery. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. There's no lift so you have to walk up stairs to get to your room but even walking to the top floor didn't put us off the hotel and we got a beautiful garden view. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

In the middle of a villager location with lovely grounds and a pond. Or room was small without an outlet near one side of the bed (luckily, we had an extension lead), and zero air conditioning. Lots of stairs for some reason. We had a couple of blackouts and no WiFi for a day and a half. Staff were lovely. Food was nice - breakfast was very generous.

Our room (242) was a bit dated, with a few stains on the carpet and a TV remote that could have used a good clean. However, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was delicious! The room seemed to be near a top-up tank for water or heating, as we could hear the sound of a large cistern refilling about every half hour. We didn’t mind too much since we had earplugs. Overall, it was a convenient stop to break up our journey from Cornwall, but I’m not sure we’d choose to stay again.
