Set on an exclusive 7 acres of the Wintershall Estate and part of the National Garden Scheme, the Gardens are an integral part of the wider Firesyde site. Featuring ancient woodland, a Wild Mini Spa (Opens March 2025), and open fields ideal for summer events, the Gardens provide a stunning natural backdrop for any occasion.
With ample space for events and multiple inviting “hang-out” spots, the Gardens is a rich and immersive natural location. Guests can stroll around serene ponds, admire vibrant azaleas, hydrangeas, and the famous gunnera, or enjoy a picnic on the grasslands with views of grazing horses. There is plenty to explore and enjoy in this beautiful outdoor space.

We recently had an amazing few days at Firesyde and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. The cabin was beautiful, with so many thoughtful touches. The fire pit and outdoor bath were lovely and being surrounded by countryside with horses and wildlife really made it feel like a proper escape. Having Winkworth Arboretum next door and loads of lovely walks nearby(as well as some great pubs!) really made it the best break. Frank was a brilliant host, warm, helpful, and made us feel at home. Already talking about when we can go back!

Firesyde truly exceeded all of my expectations. My partner and I had such an amazing break. Our lodge was spacious and cosy, the decking and porch were beautifully designed and it so easy for us to embrace that seamless indoor/outdoor living. Cooking on the fire everyday was a big highlight for us. The team prepared a detailed field guide which even goes into detail about how to build a fire if you haven’t done so before. The grounds were immaculate and the wild garden was another highlight. A peaceful haven. I’m eager to return and would encourage anyone and everyone to book a stay here at Firesyde! What a beautiful place and amazing night. I can’t wait to come back. The lodges were beautiful, comfortable and had everything I needed. It was peaceful and relaxing. Everything was easy, staff were lovely friends and accommodating. I was shown everything and how to use everything. Using the sauna outdoors surrounded by tress and plants was amazing. The outdoor bath and natural salts was the perfect touch not to mention how amazing the lodge smelt! Planning my next stay already.

A wonderful place for a short getaway! We spent two amazing days here — the cabin was cozy, clean, and the service was excellent. The peaceful atmosphere made it even better. One of the highlights was the beautiful trail nearby — perfect for walks and enjoying nature. Everything was top-notch. We’ll definitely be coming back!
