Carvery:Loved and enjoyed the food, puddings were tasty too,no complaints from us,the service is attentive and polite, but not over the top. Plus it was very busy,so the staff still remained professional, polite and courteous.Wish them all the best!

Just stayed for the third time and found it to be friendly, in a good location with very decent facilities. Breakfast is well cooked and tasty. Receptionist recommended the hash browns. I don't usually like them but these were very good. I look forward to a longer stay than I have done so far.

This was my second stay and again I was very impressed, the room was perfect for me, the food is really great, the staff are always very polite and friendly they are very helpful and welcoming. Excellent all round and if I have to go back to Alton the Alton House Hotel is where I will stay. Thank you to one and all. Teresa Robb 🌹

Great value for money. The hotel is a little dated, but for the money the rooms are spacious, the location was perfect for our needs and the staff were very helpful. I’ve stayed at much worse hotels for much more money, so this place is an absolute bargain for what you get.

We booked this hotel as we were going to a wedding. It was the only hotel in Alton available for the date and was also the dearest so I had high expectations. The room was large the bathroom had everything needed good quality towels. I felt the whole place needs updating the furniture was dated and very tired looking the TV in the room was not placed so that it could be viewed easily. I don't think I would stay again for what I paid I wasn't very impressed.
