Just got home from a two night stay at Moorhill for our wedding anniversary, and cannot recommend it enough! The hotel is set in such a quiet, beautiful part of the New Forest - we saw ponies, deer and so much other wildlife 🌿 and is just a ten minute walk from Burley. The hotel itself is so welcoming and cosy as soon as you walk in, with a lovely restaurant, bar and lounge area. We booked a superior king room and it was so nicely decorated, super clean, and they'd even left us a 'Happy Anniversary' card, which was such a lovely touch. The food was absolutely stunning, especially the risotto 😍 but most of all, the staff were all absolutely amazing - so chatty, friendly and kind, and went out of their way to ensure we had the most comfortable stay 🥰 We will definitely come back!

We had a 40th wedding anniversary meal st Moorhill House with our family, who range in age from 3 to 65 years old. It was FANTASTIC!! The staff were warm & welcoming, so kind and patient with the little ones and really went out of their way to make our visit memorable & enjoyable. The location is stunning, the venue has a fabulous ambience and the decor is elegant and classy. The menu was varied and the food was absolutely first class. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough and are already planning a return visit. Thank you for making our celebration so special 🎂🥂🍾🎉

A wonderful hotel that has recently undergone a luxurious remodel. From the hotel rooms to the dining areas everything has been meticulously designed. On top of the gorgeous hotel the staff have been so welcoming. The place is a must stay when visiting the New Forest. A short walk to town has you passing right by the woods where the wild horses roam. Truly magical!

My wife and I just spent a couple of nights here for our anniversary, and it was amazing. We booked without knowing quite what to expect based on previous reviews, but it turned out to be an incredible place. Recently taken over and modernised, the hotel is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay special, and the food and drinks were both excellent. We loved it so much that we extended our stay for another night. We can’t wait to go back!!
