A delightful pub with a lovely atmosphere and a very good choice of menu. Our service was excellent with many thanks to the very attentive and efficient Bella. Thank you from three very satisfied customers!

Lovely cosy pub, attentive friendly staff, great food. Mum said it was the best fish and chips she'd had in a long time, fish cooked to perfection. And not forgetting the ladies loo immaculate! We'll definitely be back for our halfway meet with family.

This place is batting way above their current rating! Delicious, locally-sourced staples, and TONS of GF and allergy-friendly options. Fish & chips are perfect, sausages are unbelievable and both mash & gravy are like mum’s. Friendly service, comfortable historic atmosphere directly across from Jane Austen House Museum. Outdoor eating out back. One note: food begins at 18:00, so if you’re a visitor from far off you might want to pay attention to that.

Gluten free options, massive portions, very friendly staff. Homely decor. Kids and I loved it!
