I stayed on 17-18 August ahead of a wedding in the area. If you are staying in the area or needing a get away for a few days, highly recommend this property. It’s preserved its original character, yet very well maintained. Each room has beautiful furniture, beds are super comfortable. Service throughout the hotel is immaculate. From check-in through to departure, the welcome and service received at every stage was phenomenal. I would visit here again many a time if I could. Not a single thing went wrong during my stay, in fact the staff always went above and beyond to make the stay pleasant.

I was invited to dine here and had the chance to try several dishes: the curried rump of lamb, beef fillet, Faroe Island wild salmon, and pan-fried duck egg. Each was beautifully presented and tasted excellent, with the only slight drawback being that the mashed potato served with the beef fillet was a bit too salty for my liking. The restaurant leans toward the pricier side, but the cost feels justified given its exclusivity, refined menu, and high-quality ingredients. The ambience is elegant and welcoming, creating a lovely atmosphere for a special evening. The staff, particularly the waitress who attended our table, were attentive, friendly, and very helpful throughout the meal. Overall, a memorable dining experience that balances fine food, atmosphere and service, well worth a visit for those seeking something special.

My wife took me here for another birthday treat, a Jane Austen inspired afternoon tea! I cycled past this hotel a 100 times yet never been in, well that changed today. What superb wonderful grounds this hotel sits in, very well maintained. At the entrance we were welcomed by the concierge and directed to the tea room. We had two servers and they were so attentive and I am sorry that I did not get their names. Earl Grey tea was very fresh and fragrant ( some can be too pungent) a nice selection of finger sandwiches, four hot and fresh scones with jam and cream and then the little cakes, oooooh the strawberry tart 🤤. A lovely little surprise was the little birthday treat, a nice touch. Tylney Hall Hotel is a stunning and beautiful building set in amazing grounds in the Hampshire countryside just minutes off the M3 J5 and surprisingly not as expensive as you may think. Lovely place and service 👍

Tylney Hall is a truly wonderful location. The house and gardens are impressive and spacious. The staff are very friendly and efficient. We stayed in one of the garden rooms, which easily fit the four of us (kids age 6 and 9). The pool was a big draw for the kids. We had dinner in the lounge area, which was good and had some good options for the kids. The breakfast was excellent and a nice finish for our stay. My one critique would have to be that the wasps are a bit of an annoyance when sitting outside :)

Great setting and gardens. These were a real highlight and more akin to being at a National Trust than a hotel. We got a last minute deal with various discounts/bundled food allowance etc. Wouldn't have wanted to pay full price. Room was a good size with twin aspect windows looking onto the gardens. Very nice. Traditional room but good quality. Some elements of housekeeping/maintenance could be better. Our bath had some weird marks (OK for using the shower) and there was a blocked drain smell in the corridor. Outdoor pool is stunning and was fortunately quite quiet when we were there. I overheard talk of it being child free at certain times but not sure if that is enforced. The gardens and the outdoor pool are certainly my highlights. Not so good things: Dinner was very expensive and not particularly impressive, you're going to spend nearly double your £100 food allowance as a couple even if choosing the lower cost dishes, cheapest glass of wine is £11, £16 of service charge that we weren't expecting either etc etc. Indoor pool not great have stayed in far cheaper hotels with better ones, hot tub is pool temperature. Sauna's are just a couple of small two person ones in the changing rooms, gym pretty small.
