Micklefield Hall is set in 350 acres of rolling Hertfordshire countryside. Managed and run by the Rankin family who live in the manor house, ensures this elegant country venue has a wonderful family feel. Micklefield conjures up a mix of total privacy, exclusivity and luxury which, when combined with the truly magical setting, makes it the perfect venue.

The Great Barn looks out over magnificent gardens with distant views and enjoys a convenient location just two miles from Chorleywood exit (Jct 18) of the M25. Every event at Micklefield Hall is tailor-made to suit your requirements. The Great Barn and the extensive gardens are yours exclusively for the day.

All events at Micklefield Hall take place in the Great Barn. There are several outdoor spaces that are also available to use and included in the venue fee. Our venue is totally exclusive and our venue fee includes our specialist Event Manager to help you plan and run your event.

In the event that you cancel your event, for whatever reason, no money is refundable. Cancellation within three months of the date will require payment of the venue fee in full.

I recently had a pleasure of returning to Micklefiled Hall to photograph a wedding. Second time round I fell in love with it. Absolutely amazing venue for any type of a wedding. Atmospheric barn with the most amazing and picturesque grounds. Highly recommend.

From my very first conversation with Lauren at Micklefield Hall to my daughter’s wedding last Thursday, the whole experience was incredible. The grounds are stunning, and while the weather meant the ceremony couldn’t be outside, the orangery was a beautiful alternative. We enjoyed a lovely reception in the courtyard, and the barn created the perfect setting for the most amazing party. The attention to detail from Lauren and the entire team was outstanding nothing was ever too much trouble, and it genuinely felt like our wedding was the only one. You can tell it’s a family run venue with a true passion for what they do. If you’re considering a country wedding, I couldn’t recommend Micklefield Hall more highly – it was perfect.
