Described as a real “hidden gem” of a venue, Shenley Cricket Centre is the perfect, unique setting for a wedding celebration. Shenley is ideal for weddings in every season. Nestled in the charming Hertfordshire countryside, the beautiful rural scenery provides the perfect backdrop for your important wedding photographs.
Whether you’re planning a grand celebration or a more intimate event, the flexible venue can cater for weddings of a variety of sizes and styles. For a truly memorable occasion, we can hold ceremonies with 100 guests and evening receptions with up to 300.
We pride ourselves on our versatile approach to every event. From venue hire to our fantastic wedding packages, we can offer something to suit every budget and requirement. Our dedicated, professional team will work closely with you to create a bespoke event just for you. We will do everything to make your day is a great success, ensuring that everything running smoothly from start to finish.
We make sure that we are well prepared for weddings all year round. Our winter marquee is set up from October to April and can accommodate up to 120 guests for a formal seated meal and 200 for the evening. Between May and September, the summer marquee can hold up to 200 guests to dine and 300 for an evening reception.

The Shenley Ballroom can accommodate 300 guests and has a completely clear floor space with no obscuring pillars which makes it perfect for dancing and offers great flexibility to entirely transform the room to your specific requirements.

There is a private bar within the ballroom and it has stunning panoramic views looking out onto our cricket pitch and countryside.

    To be honest, if I leave a bad review then hopefully it would steer prospective clients away from here and leave more availability for my daughter who has already decided that she wants her wedding reception here. But I'm not going to lie as this place is very impressive, and convenient for where we live in NW London. I hired this place on a dry hire basis, so I cannot comment on any other aspects, however communication with Shanel was brilliant unfortunately she has left her job and moved on I have met Tee who is very friendly, and i wish her all the best in her new role. On the day Arthur was overseeing the venue and liaising with the caterers, decor team and myself. I cannot fault his ability to manage well, he is very friendly and welcoming and always willing to help and answer any questions or queries I had. Onto the venue, the location is at a cricket club, with access to the field for children to run around on when there is not a cricket match really helped. There is ample parking, only thing is it needs to be better signposted as a few guests missed the actual entrance and went a bit further. The actual hall is well set out with an internal marquee, which was perfect for all weather types as they also had A/C for hot days, and it was fairly warm on the day we hired it. They have a mixture of round and trestle tables however we used the round tables and they placed what was required into the hall for our caterers to setup. The available hours was more then enough for our event and they also provided a cleanup service afterwards included in the price. Overall amazing venue away from traffic so its quiet and peaceful, very good staff who are helpful, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed.

    Got married here last year and had the most amazing day! Everyone involved was so helpful-Kelly our events coordinated, the bar staff, caterers, We used the caterers provided by Shenley and the food was amazing and plentiful!
