The Conservatory at the Luton Hoo Walled Garden is the perfect setting for a fantastic wedding reception. The Bedfordshire venue is ideal for a grand reception with a capacity of up to 400 guests.
While the venue is not licensed for civil ceremonies, it can host truly spectacular wedding receptions. With such a large capacity, the space is ideal for wonderful Asian weddings.
The venue is located within the beautiful five-acre Walled Garden of the Luton Hoo Estate, one of the 18th Century’s great horticultural landmarks. The Garden is bordered by flower beds which look vibrant with colour during the summer months. The Conservatory itself has glazed windows on one side, allowing you to look out over the glorious Garden.
The venue’s stylish interiors boast an enchanting stat-lit ceiling which creates the perfect romantic ambience for your reception. The space can be transformed with atmospheric lighting to complement any theme or colour scheme.
To help you realise your dream day, our venue manager will be on hand throughout to offer help and support. If required, we are happy to offer advice and suggestions on anything from floral arrangements to tableware.
Hoo’s Food, the in-house caterers will provide a delicious dining experience. Our Executive Chef, Phil Hayes, has assembled a fantastic, experienced team to ensure everything runs seamlessly. You have the option to meet with the Executive Chef to discuss your personal tastes and requirements to create your perfect, bespoke menu.
The venue is conveniently located on the border of Harpenden and Luton, with access from the M1 and M25.

My partner Sarah and I got married at the Conservatory, Luton Hoo. It is such a beautiful venue and we were overall very happy with it. The technician was so great and made all of our music arrangements and lights happen, and the venue manager liaised with all suppliers to make sure things ran smoothly for us on the day and did extra work setting out the decoration/chairs. A few things to note: Make sure you are giving very clear instructions to your guests as some of ours struggled to find the right entrance on time. If you are having an outdoor ceremony, bear in mind you will need to arrange for additional chairs to be hired, and also the venue is not licensed so you will need a separate civil wedding ceremony.
