We had a great stay at this hotel. I want to specifically thank Emma in the day spa for the excellent massage and salt scrub. She is professional and very caring, I will be making a booking when next at the Kingsmills Hotel. With thanks Janelle

Great hotel situated about a 15 min walk from centre of Inverness. Lots of parking available. Staff were great and welcoming. Rooms were large and had an “old money” feel although bathroom had recently been refurbished to a high standard. Did not eat an evening meal but had breakfast which was good with both buffet and “to order” options. Whisky bar had plenty to choose from. Overall i wouldnt hesitate but to stay here again.

On 30.08.25 my friend Julie & I experienced the Spa Duo package, which also included a 3 course champagne lunch. A special birthday treat from my husband. We were not disappointed. This was our first visit, and Emma explained what our treatment & massage would involve. She was friendly and very helpful. After receiving our treatment, both of us felt so reinvigorated - what an amazing experience! Highly recommend Emma & her colleague (whose name I cannot recall at this time). The lunch was delightful and service first class. We had a thoroughly enjoyable spa day & lunch. We hope to return sometime soon and experience the Spa again & have the Afternoon Tea package. Thank you Kingsmill Spa & staff for a really enjoyable day. Hazel & Julie

We arrived at noon after a 20 hour journey fro Los Angeles. Check was a t 4:00 and our rooms were not ready yet. The staff took our luggage, put a message into housekeeping to move our room to the top of the list, and showed us into the lounge. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and great service. When we left on a tour the next morning, they took our luggage, when we had charger issues they found a working charger, when friends came to collect us they were warm and inviting to them. Great hotel and I highly recommend.

Went here after receiving a voucher for afternoon tea for 2 for a special birthday. Greeted and served by a lovely lady. She checked what we were having as I’d messaged when reserving a couple of weeks prior that I was wheat and dairy free( hoping that would be plenty of notice to accommodate my dietary requirements) My friend received sandwiches, scone with a dish of cream and one of jam and 4 cakes. Mine, was so disappointing! Sandwiches which were on dry bread ( you can actually get nice soft bread that is wheat free) every sandwich had cucumber on it which I hate the taste of even after it’s taken out of the sandwich. So one had cucumber and tomato, one was smoked salmon and the other was mushed egg, all of which I don’t like but where was the meat to go in the sandwich with the salad? No scone! You can actually get a variety of scones, pancakes, crumpets, pan au chocolate that would suffice. Then the cakes, there weren’t any! I got 2 fruit skewers and 3 strawberries. That doesn’t make up for cakes. It just feels like there wasn’t alot of thought gone into it at all. I have been to other restaurants for afternoon tea and was served freshly made cakes that suited my dietary requirements. Surely there are other people that require something slightly different and for a big hotel like this, very disappointing!
