Bore Place offers a unique solution for all your off-site, team building and away day needs. A historic, grade II listed manor and organic estate nestled in the beautiful Weald of Kent countryside, just 35 miles from London. We provide a peaceful and inspiring space for professional and personal development. Come for a day, or for as many nights as you like.
The Large Barn is a sensitively restored 17th century timber barn ideal for meetings, conferences, weddings and social events, artwork, dance, drama and music. It has a sprung floor and large doors opening out onto a courtyard garden. 50-80 people can be seated at tables, or 120-150 in a theatre style. Seating and tables for your guests, access to a self-contained kitchen, conveniently located toilets, as well as access to a projector, screen, laptop and flip charts can all be provided if needed.

Bore place is a truly stunning wedding venue. We have throughly enjoyed working alongside their amazing staff to provide our surprise singing waiters services and we cannot wait to return! The grounds are immaculate and maintained beautifully. There’s lots of little areas to enjoy and explore. We can’t reccomeded this venue enough!

We rented Bore House for my husband’s 60th birthday party. We invited 25 friends and family. The accommodation is perfect, all rooms nicely decorated, the bathrooms modern and fresh. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of space and the hub of the house. We had the best time and would definitely rent again, perfect for a large family /friends gathering. Thank you to all the staff who communicated well, also to Neil for a warm welcome.

My Husband Eddie & I got married at Bore Place on 8/8/25. It was truly the most perfect wedding & the venue was just beautiful. The outside wedding area is adorable, the grounds are stunning, the main house is absolutely lovely and the staff really went out of their way to make our day perfect too. There honestly isn’t one thing we would change. The venue worked brilliantly for the evening too as our 8 piece band arrived and we danced the night away. We can wholeheartedly recommend Bore Place not only for a wedding venue but also for a retreat venue too. We chose this as our wedding venue because we’ve run two wonderful retreats there in 2023/4 ourselves and we already knew what a great space and venue it is. Even so, the wedding was still more perfect than we could have imagined.
