Chilston Park Hotel, Blue Room

We had a delicious affordable, filling afternoon tea at this unique and old world elegant manor. It's location by a lake made the views from the tea room very tranquil. The service was attentive and professional. Biggest plus was that the flavors and tastes of the food and teas were some of the best we have ever had.

We had a wonderful stay here at the end of June. The building and grounds are absolutely stunning — just like the photos, if not better. From our room, we could hear the soothing sound of the fountains, and the views made us feel like we were on the set of a British period drama. The staff were fantastic. We were warmly welcomed by Hannah, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home — nothing was too much trouble. While we didn’t dine at the hotel in the evening, breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of options to suit every taste, and the whole family was spoiled for choice. A lovely young lady (whose name, unfortunately, escapes me) provided warm, attentive service and allowed us to enjoy everything at our own pace. The food was top quality. Checkout was quick and effortless, wrapped up with a smile from a friendly gentleman in a bright pair of braces — a charming final touch to a perfect stay. Thank you to the whole team — we highly recommend this beautiful hotel!
