At the Holiday Inn Rochester-Chatham, we pride ourselves on being one of the premier wedding venues in the area. The hotel is located near historic Rochester with excellent links to major motorway networks, making it ideally placed for your travelling guests.
We can cater for wedding breakfasts with up to 85 guests followed by a wonderful evening reception with 160 guests. The air-conditioned function room is a fantastic setting for your celebrations and a private function bar can be made available for you and your guests.
Enjoy a relaxed drinks reception on the patio as you socialise with your guests. The patio area also provides a fantastic spot to capture some of your all-important photos.

We spent here two weeks and used most of the services that is available. All of our experience were surpassed our expectations. Milana and James were very approachable and supportive in all of our special needs in the administration and in the dining, too.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Rebecca in the restaurant was very helped knowledgeable about the menu 5 stars for her.. Kate on reception was friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were clean. Now the only negative was the physical maintenance of the room. Slightly worn carpet in places and decor was a bit slack. I would stay again.

The hotel is a nice little place. When I checked in I was promptly helped by James. He waited patiently until I found the name my booking was under (company booking) and made sure I was set up correctly. There is a well equipped gym and a small pool which I used on the second day. The restaurant was excellent. I had the Korean chicken as a starter and the burger as main. The waiter (Joe) did excellent, and with no problems whatsoever. The food arrived shortly after and I tried to finish it all as the portions were huge. Will recommend to come here if you need a place to stay around here.

We checked in online and had booked 3/4 months prior to stay to then be told we could have a twin room with no air con. The weekend we stayed was 30 plus. We had booked and paid for a family room. Eventually the evening manager found us a double room that had just been checked out of and made sure was cleaned for us to have. It did have some issues with damp in bathroom but had air con and bed was comfortable and room was large. Was offered to move the next day but decided to stay with what room we had. Did give us some extra points and free breakfast..overall brilliant service and the manager was very attentive.

We arrived and were told that we couldn't have the double room we'd booked, as we'd been allocated a twin. I wasn't pleased and was told that I should read the small print as they said this might happen! And if we don't want the twin we can check out and go find another hotel. Points accumulated on account had been wiped as we'd not stayed here for ages .... again can't say anything as also in the small print! The breakfast booked on advanced booking wasn't included apparently, and the email confirmation of booking didn't state it,so couldn't prove the booked offer. Not a great start to our stay. Wanted feather pillows as offered in room info. Phoned reception, and after phoning and hanging on for absolutely ages, eventually asked for pillows. None arrived, so we had to ring again for them... this time we were successful! Bathroom very tired with door chipped and mould on shower sealant. Shower overflows so had to use towels to soak up the flood in the bathroom. Cards wiped whilst we were out an about day 1, so had to get them Reset... another cock up from the unhelpful receptionist at checkin. Bed comfy, room standard, feather pillows a godsend ... don't expect service though . And when you've eaten the biscuits on the first night, don't expect a replenishment.... still waiting! :-( And they can't even be bothered to read and respond properly.... just a standard holding acknowledgement reply... in fact word for word the response given to my husband's email .... more poor customer service!!
