Many Congratulations on your engagement! Mick and Hazel would like to welcome you to the Plough and Barn at Leigh in Kent and thank you for considering the venue for your big day.
Surrounded by the charming Kent countryside, the 17th Century inn and event barn boast the most beautiful views in a tranquil location. While you can enjoy the peace of the rural location in The Garden of England, the venue is conveniently located near the motorway network, perfect for your travelling guests.
The gorgeous Barn has preserved many of its original features, most notably the striking wooden beams. The spacious barn also boasts a minstrels’ gallery and wood burning stoves to create a peaceful and warm atmosphere in the winter months. The Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies and can accommodate up to 130 guests for your romantic service and the following wedding breakfast. The barn is also great for your evening reception with space for up to 200 guests to celebrate into the night.

We were originally looking for a barn venue, but chose this one not just for the beautiful setting, but also because the staff were incredibly professional, yet friendly and relaxed. Communication in the lead-up to the big day was fantastic—any changes we needed to make were never a problem. On the day itself, every single member of staff was so attentive and ensured everything ran perfectly. The food was absolutely outstanding, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Overall, it was amazing value for money and it was more than what we hoped for! We would 100% recommend this venue to anyone planning their special day. A huge thank you to Becky and the entire team! If you are looking for a traditional English pub look no further. I booked online from Canada for my dad’s 70th birthday, they followed up with a confirmation email and call to discuss birthday options. On the day they were ready for us we had amazing service, incredible food and most of all a special birthday celebration where they brought desert while singing happy birthday ! I would recommend to everyone !
