The location is very secluded and quiet. We slept the night away in peace without hearing any cars or emergency services with the window open. Initially there was a problem with our room, it was swiftly sorted through the staff. Agnieszka the receptionist was amazing and extremely helpful. She checked up and followed up on us multiple times and it felt like a great service. The rooms were tidy and had a homey atmosphere. The bedding was extraordinarily comfortable and we didn’t want to leave the bed. I would definitely come back here again.

Beautiful hotel staff are lovely and welcoming. Hotel is quite large with connecting buildings unattached. Beautiful gardens for weddings. Rooms are a bit dated with unnecessary future for example a desk at the bottom of the bed but then also a large round table in the room takes up quite a bit of space in the room comfortable beds and genius members of baking.com get a late checkout

My stay there was for my friend’s daughter’s wedding, which was beautiful. We stayed 2 nights. On the first night there was a little issue with our bed and as soon as I reported it, house keeping service sorted it out, immediately and apologised. I would highly recommend Kilhey Court for a romantic getaway, the whole environment is beautiful and well kept. The staff were amazing and we would definitely visit again.

Amazing old building Wonderful staff, friendly, cheerful, my God the lady on breakfasts was almost painfully cheerful - in a good way. Didn't get chance to sample evening meals. Breakfasts were nice (could do with a plate warmer). Amazing value when we stayed - cheaper than generic hotels (travelodge & premier inn types). Should've walked round the reservoir on Saturday morning when the weather was good. Will have to return to do that another time.

Booked a suite, the jacuzzi bath was broke. Had to ask for tea/coffee. Very worn and tired. Child's bed not made up. Booked for 3 but only had amenities for 2. Disappointed the pool was closed. I booked this hotel to take my daughter swimming. Should be told at point of booking it's closed. Stands in lovely grounds.
