Browns Leeds is a brasserie and bar housed in a handsome former banking hall on The Headrow in the heart of Leeds city centre, close to The Light shopping centre and Leeds Art Gallery, and one of the most characterful private dining venues in Yorkshire.

The building's original features have been carefully preserved throughout. High ceilings, dramatic arched windows, marble columns, and opulent detailing give the interior a sense of grandeur that is genuinely hard to find in a city centre restaurant. Three private and semi-private spaces sit within the building, each with their own distinct character, from the imposing main Private Dining Room with its bank vault feel through to the intimate Manager's Office flooded with natural light and The Heavens for groups who want some privacy while still feeling part of the buzz below.

The food menu covers classic British brasserie dishes, seasonal specials, and market fish, with menus available for five-course feasts, buffets, canapés, and celebration packages. A full cocktail and Champagne list runs throughout, and drinks packages can be tailored to the occasion.
Leeds train station is around a 10-minute walk and there are multiple bus stops on The Headrow right outside. No on-site parking.

The Private Dining Room is the largest of Browns Leeds's three private spaces, seating up to 20 guests in a setting that makes the most of the building's banking hall heritage.
High ceilings, opulent detailing, blue upholstered chairs, and a long banquet table set with glassware give the room a dramatic, formal feel that works well for private dinners, birthday celebrations, engagement parties, business lunches, and Christmas events. A PA system is included and guests can connect their own music. The full brasserie menu is available alongside buffet, canapé, and celebration packages. Worth noting that the room does not have a door, so some noise from the main bar can be audible.
