The Botanist Leeds, Bar Area

We came in just thirty minutes ago. We spoke to the chef about the food while we sat in the heated outside area; it had a really nice vibe. We ordered the halloumi and chicken hanging kebabs. Once we had finished our food, we spoke to the chef again and asked for their name. Thank you to Willow for cooking our food; it was delicious. Can’t wait to come back again :)

We loved having lunch at The Botanist! We really enjoyed the meat and the dessert, but one dish stood out — the cauliflower! It was incredibly delicious! We didn’t try it this time, but we saw that there’s an option to pay a fixed fee and get unlimited drink refills — it seems like a great choice to enjoy with friends. The service was excellent, and we would definitely go back!

Biggest issue I had was the prices were a bit delusional. I remember thinking afterwards "this wasn't worth £100". The Mrs. agreed. Food was ok. As for drinks, if you're not into cocktails or wine you'll find the selection limited. The atmosphere was also just ok; The seating arrangements are quite cramped but luckily it was mostly deserted. Otherwise I don't think I'd have liked the atmosphere. At least the service was prompt, polite, and helpful. 5 stars. We won't be returning.
