April 2025Lovely hotel very central to all amenities. Reception staff couldn't do enough for you, friendly. Yes the hotel is being updated but does not impacted on your stay. The rooms are spacious also our bathroom was. Plenty of choice at breakfast on hot and cold. Will definitely stay at this hotel again. 😀😁

April 2025Stayed for a midweek break. Perfect location for getting around Leeds, walking distance from the train station, and walking distance to shopping, dining, etc. Rooms are comfortable, though a tad small. Staff were excellent and helpful. There was renovation work being done, but this didn't impact the stay. Construction workers were very mindful and everywhere was kept clean and tidy. The hotel has a restaurant, gym and car parking. Would definitely stay again.

May 2025This hotel is in a lovely location and it's got lots of potential, it looks like great thing coming with the new refurbishment. I'd say customer service is not the best as I was concerned about noise in the evening to a lady who showed no empathy and told me typically people that stay here on weekends go out on the weekend. At the end there was no noise in the evening but a more reassuring solution -orientated approach would be more useful than a 'if you can't beat them join them'

May 2025The current refurbishment is making this hotel useless. The only saving Grace was the bar and breakfast staff. The list of negatives.....rooms are terrible, bathrooms are dates and showers are useless, no air con so winds required to be open which meant the 4.30am and 6am bins collection was VERY unwelcome all three nights. The reception staff could not have been more unfriendly and could not care less about everything from trying to check in early (I'd have paid) to the complaints about bins. I will NOT be back.

June 2025Actively undergoing restoration, and wow, does it need it. I stay in Leeds, maybe once a month with work, and this is the worst room in 4 years by a big margin. Small, tatty, awful cheap decor, nearly 5 minutes running the hot tap before getting any hot water, the gap under the room door needed pillows to block the light and noise, no air-conditioning, and the builders started making noise at 7.43am, massively overpriced due to limited availability. In summary, they are in the middle of building work, and the experience was more cheap east European stag night then plesent overnight stay. were polite and cheerful, and I felt sorry for them as they must know how bad it is.
