We stayed for 2 nights on a city break. The staff were so friendly. Any advice or anything we needed they helped us out. Room was perfect for what we needed. Great location with so many restaurants across the road.

I love this hotel for its Art Deco design and old planes, fire engine and police car on the old runway. The rooms are very boutique and a nod back to the 1920s, I especially like the doors and staircase and the attention to detail is amazing. There is a nice bar with screens that show sport and has a nice selection of drinks plus a restaurant next door which has great views of the planes whilst having breakfast. I've stayed here many times for business and always found the staff very friendly and helpful, the rooms very clean and lots of parking. I also like that you get a pass to the David Lloyd gym which is next door ... Very nice perk 👌🏻

Always enjoy staying here. A great building full of history, situated in a convenient location for all things Liverpool. The staff are extremely helpful and professional, and always smartly dressed in uniforms. The rooms are spotless and modern, the food is excellent, and the surroundings are ideal. There is plenty of parking and the whole place has a feeling of calm and restfulness. Conveniently located for business people flying into nearby John Lennon Airport, the hotel creates a positive impression of the city.

All staff members here were absolutely first class! Room was great albeit with an issue with the air conditioning which was throughout the whole hotel, but this didn't affect our stay in the slightest. The adjustments the staff made with complimentary waters and ice cream made up for it easily. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Will stay again.

Could have been better. The location is quite handy for the airport, but by the time you have dropped the taxi driver a tip you’ll have spent £10 for the very short hotel to airport trip. The building is the original airport and I guess when it was first converted to a hotel it would have been rather swanky with its split wide and curvy staircases (there are lifts). However, for a 4* hotel it felt very tired. Our room had great space, the shower was powerful, but over a bath. We arrived around 2200hrs in late June. The guy on reception was nice and friendly. Whilst checking in we thought the manager must be a good sort because next to the reception desk was a table with a small freezer. On it the sign read ‘free ice lollies’ - how nice we thought. Once we were on the landing of the 2nd floor it became airless and hot. Our room was the same. No problem, it has air con. Well it had an AC control and vents in the ceiling, but it didn’t work. On the plus side the room was big, the bed comfy and whilst not as well sound proofed as a newer hotels in close proximity to an airport it wasn’t bad. The mini bar had complimentary water. The breakfast offering was great, but the room and furniture were neither spotless nor up to date. I would actually stay here again, but would need to find a deal.
