Anfield, home of Liverpool Football Club, is a venue with a history and tradition of delivering world-class events.

The expansion of the Main Stand has made the stadium visible from several points in the city and it adds an impressive landmark to the world-renowned Liverpool skyline as well as a portfolio of beautifully appointed lounges, making it the perfect venue for meetings, conferences, dinners, parties or any other special occasion.

As well as a fantastic party, as part of the celebrations, young party guests will go behind the scenes at Anfield Stadium to see some of the new areas of the Main Stand, including Klopp’s new Dugout and the Director’s Box for some of the best views of the pitch.

They will also visit The Liverpool FC Story, the Club's interactive museum, to see all the silverware, including all five European Trophies, plus The Steven Gerrard Collection. See the former captain's collection of footballing memorabilia including his match-worn shirts, England caps, trophies and awards plus match items from Istanbul 2005.

This review is based on my attending a Bruce Springsteen concert rather than a football match. We did have plenty of time ahead of the gig to take in the club’s history as well as the solemn reverence to those killed at Hillsborough. The stadium is superb, access is easy and well signposted. There are plenty of facilities. Viewing is excellent and the sound carried superbly. Bruce Springsteen is a global showman and he had the audience in the palm of his hand. When he brought on Sir Paul McCartney the stadium rose to the feet as one. I never thought I would be able to say that I saw one of the surviving Beatles play in Liverpool. I will treasure for ever the memory of that night at Anfield.
