About Venue

Organising an event can be a very exciting and rewarding experience, but also sometimes challenging, especially if it is not something you do regularly. The Conferencing and Events Team at Liverpool Hope University is here to ensure that you have a great experience and will work with you to help deliver your perfect event.

Liverpool Hope is also the ideal choice for experienced event managers wanting to work with an dedicated and flexible Conferencing and Events Team to deliver seamless professional conferencing.

The Great Hall is situated at the heart of the Grade II listed Cornerstone building. It never fails to impress visitors with its double height vaulted ceiling and polished wooden floors. It has been restored with the addition of large glass feature windows looking out on to the wooden mezzanine bar and sitting area. The beautiful Angel statue, commissioned specially by the University, can be seen through the windows, creating a real sense of place and atmosphere.

The Great Hall holds up to 200 guests for a formal dinner and up to 350 theatre style.

It is accessed either by the double mezzanine staircase or via a lift.

Cancellation policy

In the unfortunate circumstances that you have to cancel or postpone your Event or part of the confirmed booking at any time prior to the start of the Event Period, a cancellation fee shall be payable by You based on a percentage of the charges payable, in respect of the Contract Minimum according to the number of clear days between the date that We receive written notification from You that You wish to cancel and the start of the Event Period (the ‘’Cancellation Notice’’), as set out below: Cancellation Notice Charges (as set out in the Order Form) 18 Month – 12 Months 10% 11 Months – 6 Months 50% 5 Months – 3 Months 75% 2 Months – 28 days 90% 28 days or less 100%" Please update this as soon as possible.

do not send your child here. staying on campus is very isolating as it is miles away from anything the city centre is a 40 minute bus away. also their mental health facilities are terrible, in early 2024 i was really struggling and went back home (3 hours away) to try and improve my mental state. My personal tutor was not understanding at all and told me to get medicated and come back the next day as we “had classes” she had no care in the world, i was subsequently offered 2 weeks off but then to come back and was never offered any mental help from the university it was swept under the rug. i ended up dropping out from studying education, the teaching was awful anyway no support with referencing or reading the ancient articles they supply as reading each week. do not go here
