Route 66 is an American themed bar on Matthew Street, the hub of the nightlife district in Liverpool. Known for live music and an even livelier crowd, this venue is ideal for music events and launch parties for up to 100 revellers.

At Route 66 they deliver the all-American service, from the stars and stripes décor to the helpful and friendly staff aiding you in planning your event. Great atmosphere, great staff and fabulous live music all day, every day. Rubber Soul is without doubt my favourite place to drink on Mathew Street. We ordered 2 bottles of Corona, a pint of Guinness and a bottle of Old Mout Cider for £16.50. Where else would you get drinks that price with live entertainment!!

Bartender didn’t know what Sailor Jerrie’s rum was and general attitude of staff appeared to feel like they thought they were doing customers a favour by serving. Good location, lively, but customer service lacking.

Absolutely shocking experience. Complimented a SIA fella after a load of violence only to be took as a idiot and kicked out myself. Wouldn't mind but it was the first outing in 48 months that me and my missus had. Absolute joke after 10 years of going here I wouldn't go back the children they have as security is a joke. (Security guard on question i can point out) he shouldn't have any badge at all and will happily say that in court if premises doesn't sort it.
