Showcase Cinema Liverpool, Screen 1

Best cinema I have been too! Travelled from Blackpool to try this cinema out as it was the only one showing the 3rd Twilight film. I have to say the prices are fab on both tickers and cinema snacks! The seats are recliner and the comfiest cinema seats I've ever sat on! The whole place was so clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful! Will definitely be back again :)

Big cinema with nicely spread out lounger chairs. Comfy especially for some of the 3hour movies that come out from time to time. Good prices especially with insider membership (free membership - just join online beforehand) on a Monday. Early daytime movies quiet - you may even get the screen to yourself. Loads of parking and a food places including McDonalds next door

We go to the showcase weekly. The people who work there are absolutely lovely and so helpful and knowledgeable. Danielle, in particular, is great. I’m disappointed to see that she’s no longer on the desk and there is a self serve screen to use instead. Nobody likes faffing around with self serve in the cinema. It’s the main reason we don’t go to the Odeon at Switch Island; it’s annoying, takes longer and removes the human connection that makes the Showcase different to other cinemas. As well as Danielle, the security guard (I don’t know his name sorry) is really helpful and knowledgeable about the films being shown. Every other member of staff has always been really helpful and nice too. The people who work there are what differentiates the Showcase from other cinemas. I could stay home and stream a film or I can go to the Showcase and talk to nice, interesting people who always go the extra mile and can discuss a film with us. There are bigger cinemas, posher cinemas, cheaper cinemas, etc but the people who work there are what makes the Showcase stand out. Thank you
