We got married in April 2025. I couldn’t fault the staff at the venue. We felt so welcome there, the staff working at wedding were amazing and really got into the wedding too. The food was great. The location is to die for and is so beautiful during the sunset. Would highly recommend getting married at the lake house!

Stopped off here to watch the sunset go down and had a non alcoholic drink. Staff seemed friendly who served me. Can't comment about the food or rooms due to not using the service to why I haven't rated them. Lovely views of the marina and parts of the beach facing the marina enjoying a drink on a warm evening. 👌

It was our first time for a few drinks and dinner last night at the Lake House and we absolutely loved it. Had the most amazing food. The waitress recommended the chicken milanese which was unreal. The service was amazing and Wendy didn’t fail to make sure we had a fab time. We’ve already made plans to come back in the summer!

Me and my husband got married here in February and WOW it was everything we had pictured and more. The venue is gorgeous, the staff are so helpful, friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I even had guests compliment them. The food we had was absolutely delicious. Ourselves and our friends and family didn't have one bad word about it. The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. Special mention to Natalie our wedding coordinator, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you to all at The Lake House for making our special day one to remember.

We just got back from a two night stay here and cannot wait to come back. It’s in a great location around a 20/25 minute drive from the city centre & so peaceful. We had a beautiful view from our room as shown in the photo. The room, and the hotel/restaurant, were impeccably clean. The bed was honestly the comfiest I’ve ever slept on. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We had breakfast on our first morning and the service was 10/10 as was the food. I honestly can’t recommend The Lake House enough. I could go on & on with everything we loved. We will definitely be visiting again.
