Located in the heart of Balham, The Exhibit has been a local institution for the last 23 years. Our all-day dining includes both bottomless brunch and dinner, with a stunning array of menu options that include both Vegan and Vegetarian Dishes, making us the perfect spot for get-togethers no matter what you are craving, at any time of day. No day at the Exhibit is the same with a range of events including; stand-up comedy, poetry, live music, life drawing and our latest addition Puppy yoga! Whether you are dancing the night away at our late night bar, singing your heart out in our Lucky Voice Karaoke Suite or relaxing in our Boutique cinema – a night at The Exhibit is one that you will never forget.

Our exquisite Garden provides the ultimate city escape, and with a fully covered perspex roof you are able to bask in the sunshine whilst still fully protected from potential showers. Other rules

● Private Hire events in The Gallery, The Studio and The Garden are strictly for over 21’s+ ●We are strictly over 21’s post 6pm every weekday and post 6pm at the weekend. ● Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been paid and the hire contract signed by both parties accepting the terms and conditions. ● DJs must be pre-approved & hired externally and they must bring their own equipment, The Exhibit will provide speakers. ● All deposits are refundable once the minimum spend has been achieved and no damage incurred to the private room. Refunds are administered the Monday after the event. It takes 5 to 10 working days for the refund to show in your bank account. ● Deposits are non refundable if the guest cancels the event. The events team will work with the customer to transfer the event to a different date or to use the deposit against food and drink spend at the venue. ● Deposits will be refunded and the booking cancelled in the event the venue is required to close by law due to Covid-19. ● All deposits must be paid via the secured link. We do not accept deposits in any other form. ● Food or drink that is not purchased from The Exhibit cannot be brought into the venue. ● Pre ordered food or drink packages must be placed a minimum of 3 working days prior to your event and paid for in full. Pre orders are non refundable. ● We would love you to decorate your space. Do not bring confetti into the venue as this damages the furniture. We will retain your full deposit to cover the cleaning costs if confetti is used including balloons that burst with confetti in it. Any decorations that require attaching to our property, please do speak to us in advance. ● The venue has a zero drug tolerance policy. Any breach of this will lead to the immediate end of the event and the deposit not being refunded. ● The venue has the right to refuse entry or service at any time. ● The party organiser is fully liable for any damage to the venue property during the event and will be charged in full for any cost accrued. ● If you wish to change the date of your event this will be at the sole discretion of the venue manager. ● We operate a smart casual dress code at all times. We kindly ask guests not to wear sports, beach and gym-wear including tracksuits or workout trainers. Smart and fashion trainers may be permitted. Caps and hats covering customers’ faces are not permitted due to our CCTV policy. Heavy coats are to be checked into the cloak room on arrival. Bags are all subject to search and large bags will be asked to be checked into the cloak room. The right of admission is reserved at all times. ● Promoted and ticketed events are strictly prohibited. Venue reserved the right to cancel the event and keep the deposit in full on breaching the rule. ● Venue will not be liable for any property lost or left after the event has finished. All personal property must be removed from the premises at the end of the event. ● All outdoor areas close at 11pm. ● All prices include VAT. ● The Exhibit does not accept cash payments. ● T&Cs are subject to change without notice. ● Further T&Cs may apply.

    I just wanted to share how incredible my experience was with Hannah at The Exhibit. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely welcomed and looked after. Her energy, professionalism, and warm personality truly stood out and made the whole evening feel special. Hannah went above and beyond in every way possible — she was attentive without being overbearing, checked in on us at the perfect times, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. She handled every request with patience and a genuine smile, even when things got busy. It’s rare to come across someone who not only does their job well, but clearly enjoys making people feel comfortable and taken care of, and Hannah is exactly that person. She added such a positive vibe to the atmosphere and made our celebration feel even more memorable. Her customer service is honestly 10/10 — warm, friendly, organised, and incredibly professional. You can tell she cares about her role and the customers she serves. If you’re visiting The Exhibit, I highly recommend asking for Hannah.     We hired the Exhibit Balham cinema room and it was stunning & very spacious. Loved all the green & gold furniture and interior as it matched our branding colours. The screen is a perfect size for intimate events, to share visuals on. WiFi and tech all worked seamlessly. Drinks, fries, pizzas WERE DELICIOUS! The best space for intimate and powerful gatherings! Love that the room also came with the balcony area which was an amazing bonus! Everyone got to enjoy pizza & networking with a view! :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to book, hire and use their incredible space and a HUGE shoutout & THANKS to Ellie & Charles for looking after us with their amazing service and support to make sure we have the best event! :) Will be recommending and coming back again 100% soon!!!

    I had my 30th birthday here and the process couldn’t be smoother. All the staff were so helpful in organising the event, especially Eva who answered all of my small and big questions via email. The bar staff were amazing on the day, and big shout out to Clio who made sure the drinks were ready and accommodated our requests. I hired out the secret garden for a reasonably priced deposit, and didn’t have to do much to decorate it, everyone loved the venue and the food! Thank you so much the Exhibit for making my birthday even more special 🤩

    Hosted a Legally Single (Divorce party) in the outside garden area with about 65 or so. The venue was great - the manager Cristian quickly jumped in to help set up & ensure smooth running of the night. When we moved inside at 11pm, we had an area cordoned off. Pizzas served when requested & were delicious. Fantastic outside space - only caveat, if you’re booking in the winter months bring coats as it was heaters vs central heating. Great fun - thanks team!!

    Wow! Finding this in Balham was surprising... lovely outdoor seating, balcony and lots of indoor too. The outdoor seating felt cosy and away from the busy life around as it had tastefully been decorated with plants. The service was so friendly and so much choice of drinks. Food was delicious. I had the beetroot salad with prawns and my friend had the full English at 1pm! Great place to hire out too as there was 2 upper floors to do so.
