The Main Reception Room is the focal point of One Moorgate Place with its impressive domed glass ceiling and colourful stained-glass windows. Filled with history, striking murals by George Murray portray the room in a different era and context. These original paintings complement the impressive stone columns and the elaborate chandelier to present a stunning and captivating space.

We’ve performed at two events here in the past month and worked with different teams each time — every experience has been outstanding! The event staff, facilities, and food are among the best we’ve come across (and we visit a lot of venues). From the most senior team members to the day-to-day staff, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. We hosted our event on November 3rd at Chartered Accountants Hall One Moorgate Place and were truly impressed. This hidden gem in the City of London has many beautiful rooms — we chose the Main Hall and the Members Room, both unique and full of character. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and everything was perfectly organised. We had a delegation of Ukrainian respectable business people and surprisingly one member of staff was a Ukrainian, who shared the venue’s fascinating history, including its connection to Queen Victoria — especially symbolic as her great-granddaughter performed at our event. Beautiful location, great service, and a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
