An absolutely brilliant birthday ( part 1 ) surprise from the fabulous Lady Emm. Amazing views and superb food for dinner from Darwins The Sky lounge is a must visit if you're in town visiting ❤️ Five big stars from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ +7 Markel is first tenant for the Walkie-Talkie building | News ... The "Walkie-Talkie" building, formally known as 20 Fenchurch Street, is a 34-story office tower in London's financial district, designed by Rafael Viñoly. Its distinctive shape, which bulges at the top, is often compared to its nickname and has made the building controversial, with critics even awarding it the annual Carbuncle Cup for being the year's ugliest building. A major feature is the public Sky Garden at the top, offering city views. Key features Design: The building's design is top-heavy, with floor plates that increase in size as they go up. This was partly to maximize the floor space on the upper, higher-rent levels, and it resulted in the wider top floors. Height: It stands at 160 meters (525 feet) tall. Sky Garden: The three-story Sky Garden is a free public park and observation deck on the top floors, offering panoramic views of London. It is accessible through a restaurant reservation or a free, but limited, public ticket. Controversy: The building's concave southern facade reflected and focused sunlight, creating a "death ray" effect in 2013 that could melt parts of a car and damage nearby businesses. This issue was addressed by adding non-reflective film. Awards: Due to its design, the building has won several awards, including the Carbuncle Cup for being the UK's ugliest building.

Amazing panoramic views of the entire London skyline, including Tower Bridge and London Bridge, from the top of the Sky Garden. The experience is completely free, but you need to book your visit online at least a month in advance due to high demand. There’s also a bar and restaurant inside, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. Highly recommended for anyone visiting London.

It was beautiful with the holiday decorations. The view was fabulous. Unfortunately the service was very slow. I found out by asking the server if they were short staff and they were. It took over almost to get my drink and food. So when the table is timed that makes a difference.

Fenchurch delivers a superb dining experience that lives up to its reputation. The setting alone is impressive panoramic views across London create a calm, elevated atmosphere that immediately sets the tone. The food is thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavour without being overworked. Seasonal ingredients are clearly respected, and the menu feels confident rather than showy. Each course was well-paced, allowing the experience to feel relaxed rather than rushed. Service was professional, attentive, and knowledgeable without being intrusive, exactly what you want in a restaurant of this calibre. A wonderful choice for a special occasion or a refined dining experience in London. Worth the visit for both the cuisine and the setting.
