A penthouse private dining room with a stunning balcony overlooking the river Thames and central London skyline.
Swan’s light and airy Balcony Room is an exclusive venue in London with remarkable views of the iconic riverside. Floor to ceiling French windows open onto the private balcony with its backdrop of St Paul’s Cathedral, the Thames, and the Globe theatre.
This unique space has lift access, its own private bar and cloakroom and can accommodate up to 70 people for a sit down affair, or up to 120 standing guests.
The stylish Balcony Room, with its elegant, panelled green walls, statement chandelier and abundant natural light, can be hired for private event celebrations, corporate meetings, and dinners.
The long wooden table – handmade from an oak tree that fell in the Great Storm of 1987 – is just the thing for board meetings and convivial private lunches or dinners. On the walls are twenty prints of Henri Matisse’s ‘Jazz’. These brightly coloured pictures were originally intended as covers for French art magazine ‘Verve’ and were inspired by the circus and the theatre.

We came for the Romeo and Juliette afternoon tea and had a lovely experience. The staff is super nice, smiling, knows about their menu items, they really elevated the experience. The afternoon tea was generous, the theme was very nice and the food tasted amazing. My friend got the vegan one and did not feel like she was missing out as the food was very similar. We also got a complimentary refill of the sandwich tray which was very appreciated. I will definitely be back for the next theme!

An amazing afternoon tea experience with a Romeo and Juliet-style twist! My partner and I enjoyed the classic tea option, especially the salmon sandwiches and scones. Extra complimentary sandwiches were available upon request. All the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, even providing a surprise birthday treat after the tea for my partner. The food looks small but is deceptively filling - we were stuffed by the end. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing afternoon Tea. A trip into London for my wife’s belated 60th birthday. Great service from the professional staff, overseen by an extremely knowledgeable Manager. As you can see from our photos the layout of the facilities and our table over looking the river Thames was great. The presentation, taste and flavours of our afternoon tea with all the extras was sublime. We wanted to stay and finish the whole lot, but, in the end did the sensible thing and got a pack-up to go. Thank you so much guys and keep up the great work. 🤩🌟💙❤️

We went to this pub before heading to the Globe theater —just for a gin tonic and a quick meal. It's really charming and very well-kept. The staff, especially the waitress who served us, was extremely friendly and kind. I definitely recommend this place because they have a great selection of cocktails and dishes, ranging from simple and quick bites to more substantial options. It's an excellent spot, and I would definitely like to return. Highly recommended!
