Battersea Arts Centre is one of those rare venues that feels alive. The building itself has real character — old, beautiful, and full of small creative corners that make you want to explore. The staff are welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxed, and there’s always something interesting going on, from small local performances to bigger experimental shows. The café and bar area are also great spots to sit, work, or catch up with friends. It’s a genuine community hub that manages to stay creative without feeling pretentious.

One of the most exciting theatre venues in London. A great bar too. Easy to get there on the 87 bus from central London

A beautiful building with interesting and uplifting decor. The centre has great accessibility, felt at ease watching a relaxed performance and using the designated chill out space afterwards.

Love Battersea Arts Centre but it does seem to produce a lot less than in the past. The whole building used to host work in progress (scratch) performances. It doesn’t seem as buzzy now. Bring back scratch and use the amazing building you have.
