Situated in the City of Westminster, Porchester Hall’s Grade II listed classic art deco design and understated elegance make it a sought-after venue for a variety of events, from private parties, dinner and dances and weddings to concerts, charity galas and fashion shows.

The grand entrance is ideal for reception drinks and leads guests up the elegant staircase with its ornamental bronze and wrought iron banisters, striking marble walls and crystal chandelier. From the stairway, guests are led through to the Main Hall, which is the very essence of grandeur and opulence. The Hall walls are handsomely panelled in English oak and walnut, with luxurious rich crimson velvet curtains. Fascinating figurines and motifs support the main beams, while ten magnificent crystal chandeliers, adorned in gold leaf effect, hang from the superbly engraved ceiling.

The opulent Main Hall can accommodate up to 600 guests for a standing event, 450 in theatre style and 450 for a seated dinner.

AMAZING venue for events I loved the time I had at this Sudanese bazaar event. The venue is massive with gorgeous designs and architecture. Would definitely visit again for more events this is the perfect venue and has everything you need

Fantastic venue! Well kept Grade 2 listed building & facilities. First surprise you get is this lovely, classical hallway. Beautiful building converted into a gym & pool

This location is fantastic,…. So much to see. Literally 5 minutes from Hyde park, amazing cafes, supermarkets and Notting Hill stretch… although it is a “little tacky”. The movie has certainly provided an income to many street vendors trying to sell merchandise….

Lovely venue but limited or no parking. Controlled zone which ends at 10.30pm. Limited oay and display.

Do not recommend went there for an event would trap children inside a room and not let them leave the ‘play room’ unless an adult came. Wouldn’t let children up the stairs forced them to stay downstairs when the event was upstairs even tho they had an adult they wouldn’t let them up and it was very hot inside would never come back
