Browns Butlers Wharf is a brasserie and bar on Shad Thames in Bermondsey, set in the historic dockside buildings of Butler's Wharf on the South Bank of the Thames, with panoramic river views stretching from Tower Bridge down to Canary Wharf.

The venue is open all day from breakfast through to dinner and has a warm, well-established character. A large covered terrace stretches along the river frontage and forms part of the private hire offering, while inside the restaurant has the relaxed, unhurried feel of a classic brasserie. The menu covers seasonal British dishes, market fish specials, and a full cocktail and Champagne list, with traditional afternoon tea served daily and a Champagne Bottomless Brunch at weekends.

Two spaces are available for private hire: the St Saviour's Suite, a bright enclosed private dining room with river views, and the Riverside Terrace along the Thames. Both come with in-house catering, and the venue also works with an approved list of external caterers for groups with specific requirements. Children are welcome, a children's menu is available, and high chairs are provided.

Bermondsey station is 0.5 miles away, with London Bridge a short walk further. Tower Hill and Tower Gateway are also within walking distance. Paid parking is available nearby.

The Riverside Terrace at Browns Butlers Wharf is a private outdoor hire space along the Thames at 26 Shad Thames in Bermondsey, with capacity for up to 90 standing or 80 seated guests.

This is one of the more impressive outdoor event spaces available for private hire in South East London. The terrace runs along the river frontage with panoramic views taking in Tower Bridge, the Thames, and the London skyline beyond, and it is available from midday through to the evening every day of the week. Outdoor tables and wicker chairs create a relaxed, continental feel, and the in-house team handle all catering with buffets, set menus, canapés, and afternoon tea all available. External caterers from an approved list are also welcome. A portion of the terrace can be reserved for smaller groups, or the full terrace taken over for larger occasions.
