Escape the crowds and explore the best of the Mediterranean all under one roof, with beautifully crafted authentic small plates using the very best seasonal ingredients, a stunning regionally selected wine list, whilst our talented bartenders serve up some of the best cocktails in the area.
Be transported to the sights of southern Spain as you dine in our beautiful Merchant Room. Specializing in small sharing plates inspired by the Mediterranean, regional wines, and house cocktails, The Merchant Room is a fantastic place to host a private dinner with loved ones, friends, or colleagues. Our Merchant Room can be hired for groups of up to 30 for a seated dinner or we can host up to 45 people for a standing reception.
There are multiple group set menus available for private parties which feature an array of Salt Yard’s most popular tapas dishes and are designed to be shared by the whole group.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was not expecting such fantastic little plates! Ollie was our server and provided above quality service for us. Finished it with some complimentary limoncello shots! Would recommend for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of borough market :)

I had an amazing time at Salt Yard! Shub was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and really made the experience special. I tried a few whiskies and several cocktails, and every single one was perfectly mixed and full of flavour. The atmosphere was great, and the service made it even better. Definitely recommend visiting, especially if you’re into good drinks and great hospitality.
