Step into the enchanting world of our Japanese Teppanyaki steak house, nestled in the heart of Chelsea on Kings Road. Our venue is a true culinary heaven, where tradition meets innovation, and dining becomes a captivating spectacle. a personal chef comes to your table to cook and perform in front of very eyes ensuring a memorable experience for every guest. Main dining area to accommodate upto 80 guests, semi-private area 'Rocky's Room' for 50 guests, and executive Private Room for 12 guests to suit your needs.
The first Benihana opened in New York City back in 1964 and we are credited with introducing the west to the Japanese concept of Teppanyaki dining. During a meal at Benihana, guests are seated at a communal table with a ‘Teppan’ grill at the centre and look on as your food orders are cooked to perfection right before your eyes.
This world of ‘food theatre’ is particularly popular for large groups, birthday parties couples alike. The dining room is a vibrant space featuring Japanese-inspired décor with deep red walls and dark wood tables and chairs giving the space a grown-up feel.
On the menu you will find a selection of small dishes such as chicken gyoza, prawn tempura and spring rolls and it wouldn’t be a Japanese restaurant without a tempting range of sushi. Of course, the main attraction is on the table side action where expert chefs in our famous red hats wow the crowds with their slicing, dicing and chopping skills as they prepare a range of dishes including miso black cod and Wagyu beef and filet mignon.
A carefully chosen wine list compliments the dinner menu along with an extensive range of signature cocktails, all with a unique Japanese twist.

I love this place, I come here over and over again. The food is amazing, cooked right in front of you. They cater to allergies, which is perfect for me. I'd recommend coming here at least once but I know you will have to come again and again. The atmosphere is fun, the chefs put on a really good show and entertain you whilst cooking your food.

We went here for my birthday and to celebrate my Mrs graduation and it was amazing! The food was delicious and you got great portions. The staff are great and make sure you get whatever you need and the chefs are brilliant. They’re great cooks but also really entertaining.

This is a really nice location with friendly staff which are very informative. The cook was funny and entertaining, the waitress informative and happy to provide recommendation. The in-house beer was also very nice. I had the streak and lobster, it was very good, I'd recommend it! The price may be more expensive than a usual restaurant but I guess you're basically paying for a show too. It was father's day after all so had to go somewhere unique. My dad liked it so that's always a win in my book :)

We were given a voucher for Christmas and as we were in London over the bank holiday weekend decided upon Benihana on the King's Road Chelsea. It's a great Teppanyaki restaurant. We chose a set menu but plenty of other choices. The chefs are great fun and encourage you to interact. Great skill on show and the food is very tasty. Excellent for groups and birthday parties or like us just the 2. You will share the table with others. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Traditional Hibachi Lunch… Great value for money!! Visited here for lunch and absolutely had a great time, food was very nice, nice restaurant with a great ambiance and the chef was amazing! I went for the traditional hibachi lunch with chicken only £22.50. Got so much food I was full up. The chef was very entertaining and it was great fun to watch the chef cooking the food, it was like watching a show! Love the way the chef got everyone on the table involved so they could enjoy their experience. The onion soup was really delicious, the salad was fresh, the prawn appetiser was really good and flavourful, the vegetables were yummy, the rice was very nice and the chicken was cooked well with great flavours. Would definitely visit here again. Great restaurant on kings road and very reasonable priced menu, even without getting the lunch deal. Would definitely recommend trying this place out as it is more than just dining out with the great show you get from the chefs! The wine was really good too 🥂 Visited here during the week for lunch and it was not too busy. You also can book a private dinning room too, which looked really cool, great for birthday or large work group booking.
