Thoroughly wonderful 2 night stay. Arrived 4 hours before check-in to drop off the bags to find the room was ready. Great view overlooking Camden Lock. Perfect location for Camden and close to the underground to explore further afield. Speedy check-in service, and as an IHG member have free late checkout (2pm). Couldn't fault the room. Fantastically comfortable bed with amazing duvet and pillows. Shower to die for and controls away from the showerhead so no getting wet when turning on the water. All the services you could want in the room, tea/coffee, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and safe. Plenty of space for clothes. Add in the sofa and coffee table and a little home away from home. Well done Holiday Inn

Kudos to the staff at the reception and specially at the restaurant. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Camden lock over 12 days during a business trip. The hotel is currently under renovation so there were some issues with the room however the staff were proactive and provided immediate solutions. I have to mention the restaurant staff in particular who are very polite and welcoming. Absolutely love the lil notes they put up on tables every morning, shout out to Asha, Vrushali and the rest of the team for all the attention to detail. The housekeeping staff is friendly and prompt. The location is buzzing and accessible which makes it a good option to stay.

Quality location - short walk from Camden Town station. Reception and breakfast staff are very polite, personable, friendly and professional (Amir and Akshat). Quality breakfast - excellent value for money. I only rated it as 4 as I’d booked the hotel thinking it has on-site parking but it doesn’t (or at least I was told on line that it doesn’t after I’d booked). Limited real options locally to park a car. I found a space relatively near via Just Park - but £35 for 24 hours. Outside of that. I’d strongly recommend the hotel, its staff and what it has to offer.

Location is excellent in Camden, near the canal and locks and all the shops and kiosks. However there is jackhammering going on all day until 17:30. Front desk said construction has been going on for a year and a half now (January 2026). You would likely not get any sleep in the daytime, nor a nap - construction was not mentioned when I booked. Only breakfast option is £18, and great if you are really hungry but if you want something lighter, go to one of the many coffee shops or bakeries nearby. (I went to Black Sheep coffee this morning, which had great info on canal history on its walls) The room was extremely cold and they had to send someone to change out the air filter and explain the system. Hallways are nearly same temperature as outside, very cold. Unusual light system in the room - you must sleep on one side of the bed to use lights, for example to have them on and then turn off when you want to sleep - really odd. But the location is really, really good - it’s a very lively area that I found fascinating. The Clash, a band from my college days (“London Calling”), had their studio in what is now Cyber Dog.

Great location in Camden, however currently location is under remodeling on two floors. Which does make it hard for those who may need to rest. Breakfast and service was definitely the highlight of the location. Sadaqat and Mukta supplied outstanding customer service to help with our stay. Would love to come back when the remodeling is done! Most of the representatives provided outstanding customer service and we find the location ideal and centrally located to great around the greater London area.
