I’ve stayed at this property a handful of times both for business and pleasure. Canary Wharf is considered the financial district of London and definitely has more of a modern and “steely” vibe to it compared to the rest of the city. That said, it’s a superb area with plenty of cuisine options and is a lovely place to have a walkabout. The hotel itself is great. During my last stay I was upgraded to a room with a view of the quay which was gorgeous, especially at night. I’d recommend booking and/or requesting a quay view if you can. The Executive Lounge is a highlight (excellent view!) as is the breakfast spread in the restaurant on the ground floor. Another benefit of staying at this location is that since it’s located in Zone 2 the prices are a fair bit lower than other similar Marriott locations in Zone 1; but you still get VERY easy access to the city with both the Jubilee and Elizabeth lines within walking distance. Side note: Greenwich is directly across the Thames from Canary Wharf. I ventured there via the Greenwich Foot Tunnel (underneath the river which was a cool experience), but the DLR provides easy access too. Nevertheless, I’d highly recommend this hotel.

First, I’ll admit my pictures aren’t the best but don’t let that fool you. I have stayed twice at this hotel once with a Marriott Experience where we were treated like royalty then again this past summer with my entire family. What surprised me was that the experience was the same, we were absolutely valued as a customer. While we didn’t have many requests each request was treated with care and honesty, and they did what they could to accommodate us within reason. The rooms and hotel is immaculate and a great place for a quick bite, or a restful nights sleep after a busy day. What I have found to love the most about this hotel is the location, which has nearly every major tube line connecting within a few blocks of the front door. Furthermore, the Uber boat is only a little further if you want one of the most scenic public transportation options in the world. Lastly, Canary Wharf is amazing, there are restaurants, amazing public spaces and even a museum of the docklands! This is definitely going to be my go to location going forward.

Rooms are all a bit dated and worn. We've stayed in multiple rooms in this hotel from executive suites to the apartments, they are nice but dated. Hotel restaurant is enjoyable, and the lounge is a great benefit. We enjoy staying here. However, if you are looking for something shiny and new, with lots of amenities, this won't be for you. Location is convenient to get around town, as well as to and from Heathrow with the Elizabeth line stopping right here.

Downgraded from three stars to one after my TV wasn’t working and they were unable to resolve the issue for the last two days. Still waiting. It’s not even funny how bad they are at resolving issues at this hotel. Original review: Very basic property. Don’t expect anything special. In room amenities non-existent. Tiny, ill-equipped gym. Weak wifi. Staff is friendly and service is good/attentive. The location is convenient for meetings in Canary Wharf. Not a bad hotel, but could use some modernization.
