Located in the heart of London City Island, The Lockdown Room is a contemporary, outstanding venue for private party and cooperate hire. Just a two minute walk from Canning Town station (Jubilee Line and DLR) our location makes us a great, accessible London location.
Prefer something more secluded? The Lockdown Room's cozy 'Brew Lounge' is the perfect spot for groups of up to 30 people to relax with a drink and unwind. Comfy sofa's and warm lighting give the space a homely aesthetic. Home to our in-house brewery, Hopewell Brewery, you can also make the most of your own private Smeg fridge which we can stock with any drink(s) of your choosing for you and your guests to help themselves.

I private hired part of the venue to celebrate my wedding and it was such a seamless experience working with the team. The staff are super helpful and friendly. A very accommodating team and made the day of the event a stress-free experience. Great atmosphere and having the option to have the indoor/outdoor options allowed the guests to move freely which is what i wanted. I even curated a playlist for the evening and they played it all night until close. Great range of beers, cocktails and food. Food trucks are also available onsite. Thanks to the team for all their help! Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a chilled drink after work to anyone hiring out the place to celebrate any event. I look forward to working with them again in the future

We recently hosted an event here and had the most wonderful experience! From start to finish, the team was incredibly supportive and professional. Special thanks to Karolina and the on-ground staff who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly – they were so attentive and helpful throughout the day. The food was excellent and very well appreciated by all our guests, and the overall atmosphere made the event even more special. Everyone left really happy, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Highly recommend for anyone looking to host an event – you’ll be in great hands!
