The Black Lion is an iconic country pub on the north bank of the River Thames between Hammersmith and Chiswick.

History abounds at this wonderful pub – ghost stories, local history and what ‘The Black Lion’ really meant, made famous in literature and the location of a world famous skittle alley.

The Black Lion is an ideal place to hold your function. We have a private room, which originally housed a skittle alley, that makes a great space for everything from canape parties for up to 80 people to a sit down meal for up to 34.

Provided we have an advance order that meets our minimum pre-order requirements, then we do not charge a room hire fee. If you do not wish to pre-order, then there will be a room hire charge.
